It's based on star-bartender Dale Degroff's original recipe from the Rainbow Room, but with a spicy, sexy addition

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 or 2 Lindsay┬« Hot Chili Peppers

  • 1/2 tsp coarse sugar (such as turbinado or demarera sugar)

  • 1/2 oz Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)

  • 1 oz cranberry juice

  • 1/4 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

  • lemon twist, for garnish

  • Lindsay┬« Hot Chili Peppers, for garnish


Cooking Directions

  1. In a mixing glass, muddle the hot chili pepper(s) with the coarse sugar until the pepper is a rough pulp and the sugar is dissolved.

  2. Add the remaining liquid ingredients; Shake with ice and strain through a fine strainer into chilled glass

  3. Garnish with a lemon twist or another Hot Chili Pepper.
