This is my home version of my dream pizza. Spicy, creamy and delicious.
Ingredients
8 ounces spicy Italian sausage
1-12 inch prepared pizza crust
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
¾ cup prepared pizza sauce
1-4.75 ounce jar Lindsay Spicy Jalapeno Queen Olives, sliced in half crosswise
1 small red onion, diced
4 ounces Pepper-Jack cheese, shredded
8 ounces mozzarella, shredded
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Cook sausage in a medium skillet over medium high heat breaking into small pieces, until cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Place pizza crust on a large baking sheet or pizza stone and spread with the cream cheese. Evenly spoon on pizza sauce. Combine the Pepper-jack cheese and the mozzarella cheese in a medium bowl and sprinkle over the sauce. Evenly disperse the sausage, jalapeno stuffed olives and red onion over the cheese.
Bake pizza on the pan for 12 minutes. If using a baking sheet, remove from pan and bake an additional 3-5 minutes to crisp crust. Remove pizza when crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
