Bell-Carter Foods, LLC (and the vendors we hire to perform business functions on our behalf) may collect, receive, and develop several categories of personal information:

We collect Location Information: We collect information about your general location, using your zip code or postcode and IP address.

When you apply for a job, we collect information you submit as part of your application and resume.  This might include your work experience and previous employment, your education, the URL to your personal or professional websites, your workplace skill sets and certifications, whether you need a visa to work in the United States, and/or salary expectations.

  • We use your information to send you Club Lindsay newsletters and for other marketing purposes. We use the information you provide when you sign-up for Club Lindsay to send you our newsletters, as well as special offers and promotions.  We also use your Purchase and Preference Information, Internet and Network Activity, Location, and Inferences to advertise and market our products to you. 
     
  • We use information to respond to your requests or questions. We use Contact Information to contact you in response to your feedback or other matters related to our relationship with you (such as about this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use).
     
  • We use information in connection with your purchases. We use Contact Information, Purchase and Preference Information, and Payment Information to process transactions and fulfill your orders. 
     
  • We use information to improve our products and services. For example, we may use the information you provide about our products, as well as Purchase and Preference Information, Internet and Network Activity, Location, and Inferences to make our website, services, and products better.

We collect personal information about you from various sources, directly and indirectly.  We collect these categories of personal information from the following categories of sources:

  • We collect personal information directly from you. We collect Contact Information if you sign up for our club newsletter, update your subscription preferences for Club List, or contact us.  We collect Purchase and Preference Information if you make a purchase. We collect Employment-Related Information if you apply for a job. We also collect any personal information you provide if you make a request or complete a survey.
     
  • We collect personal information from your devices. We use tracking tools like browser cookies and web beacons to automatically collect information about you (including Internet and Network Activity, Purchase and Preference Information, and Location). We collect this information when you interact with our websites, our ads, and our emails that we or our vendors send to you. We may have third parties collect personal information on our behalf in this way, too. 
     
  • We get personal information from vendors we hire to work on our behalf.  Vendors that host or maintain our websites and send promotional emails for us may give us Contact Information and Internet and Network Activity Information. Our employment and recruiting vendors give us Contact Information and Employment-Related Information. These other parties might also include business and marketing partners and social media platforms that give us information they have collected either directly or indirectly from you, including Contact Information, Purchase and Preference Information, Internet and Network Activity, and/or Location Information.  We may also receive Employment-Related Information from a job network or social network if you choose to import your information from those platforms when applying for a job with us.

We share these categories of personal information under the following circumstances:

  • We share your personal information with vendors who perform services on our behalf. We may share each category of personal information with vendors who send emails for us, help us manage and operate our sites, fulfill purchases, provide advertising or marketing services, provide analytics and search engine support, track advertising impressions, investigate and prevent data incidents, audit our business and financial statements, vet job applicants, provide legal advice, and place our advertisements on other platforms.

We might share your personal information when we are investigating potential fraud.  This might include fraud we think has happened during a promotion. If you are the winner of a sweepstakes or contest, we may also share your certain Contact Information with anyone who requests a winner’s list, if required under applicable law.

If part of our business is sold, we may include user information as part of that transaction, which may include some or all categories of your personal information. You have certain choices about how we use your personal information

You can opt out of receiving our marketing emails. To stop receiving our club newsletter or other promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each message or email us at policy@bellcarter.com. Even if you opt out of getting marketing messages, we will still send you transactional messages. These include responses to your questions.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you reside in California, you have the right to ask us one time each year if we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Employment-Related Information will not be included in fulfillment of your requests.  

We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity prior to responding to your requests.  The verification steps will vary depending on the sensitivity of the personal information and whether you have an account with us. 

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.  When submitting the request, please ensure the authorized agent identifies himself/herself/itself as an authorized agent.

Our site is not intended for children

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16 without permission from a parent or guardian. If you are a parent or legal guardian and you think your child under 16 has given us information, you can contact us at policy@bellcarter.com.

We are based in the United States and process the personal information we receive in the United States. Please note that the data protection laws in the United States may be different than the laws in your region. 

We may link to third party sites or services we do not control 

If you click on a link to a third party site, you will be taken to a website we do not control. This Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of that website, which may collect information from you. Read the privacy policy of other websites carefully. We are not responsible for these third party websites or their policies.
